The Vladimir Zelman Center for Neurobiology and Brain Rehabilitation (Skoltech Neuro) was established at Skoltech in 2018 and is engaged in scientific research and innovative developments for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of nervous and cognitive disorders.

Our mission is to create a collaborative environment that fosters basic and cutting-edge applied research, with a focus on improving the lives of individuals affected by these conditions.

Skoltech Neuro focuses on the following strategic goal: to be a leader in the field of neurobiology in Russia, driving forward new discoveries and breakthroughs that will transform the way we understand and treat neurological and cognitive disorders, while also promoting healthy cognitive aging and supporting rehabilitation after traumatic conditions through our commitment to excellence in research, education, and outreach. To accomplish its research program, Skoltech Neuro collaborates with clinical institutions, companies and startups in Russia and abroad, as well as the other centers at Skoltech.
